In Bezug auf kleine Montageabmessungen ist der Toröffner CAME A3000A  vor allem zur Montage an schmalen Pfosten wie Metallpfosten geeignet, wo der Abstand zwischen dem Scharnier und dem inneren Pfostenrand (D-Maß) max. 6 cm beträgt. Möglich ist es, einen größeren Öffnungswinkel zu erreichen, in dem das D-Maß weniger als 5 cm beträgt.
